So with the husband and I currently on baby number five, I’d say we are somewhat of an authority on baby gear. We have tried MANY different products – some amazing and some totally useless. So whether you’re on baby number one, or five, I’m here to help you sort through the options with the help of The Baby Cubby!
The Baby Cubby is a shopping experience unlike any other. They do hundreds of hours of product research, scouring consumer & product reviews to find the highest rated & reviewed products out there. You can shop in-store, online, or they even have drive-up ordering! You don’t even have to leave your car. And get this. Come into their store, and with every purchase over $49, you get a free 10 minute massage in their massage chair! Talk about catering to mamas.
So here are my Top Ten Picks for baby gear must-haves from The Baby Cubby:
This is an infant seat with five different motions, and moves just like Mom and Dad do! There are also built-in nature sounds and a hookup for your MP3 player. And the seat reclines to any position. We bought ours when Enzo was born, and he loved it! Now Sonny gets to enjoy it as well. You can find it here. We pretty much love everything that 4Moms makes, which leads us to our next pick.
This is like a modern twist on the classic bounce seat. It is lightweight so that you can move it from room to room. And it has 3 vibrations settings. We bought this when I found out I was pregnant with Sonny, and it is one of my favorite purchases by far. We use this SO much. He sits in it in the kitchen while I make lunch. He chills in the bathroom with me while I’m doing my hair in the morning. It’s so convenient. A definite must-have! You can find it here.
Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat
We have used a Chicco Infant seat for each of our babies. There are so many reasons that we love this brand of seat. The safety features, of course. It is affordable, yet super stylish! This seat is also light-weight, and has an infant insert that can be removed when the baby gets a little bigger. Definitely add this to your registry! You can find it here.
Ergobaby Baby Carrier
When I had Luca, I used a carrier that almost turned me off to baby wearing forever. It was so uncomfortable, and left my back hurting after 20 minutes of wearing him. However, I decided to give baby wearing another try when I had Enzo, and purchased this Ergobaby carrier. Such a difference!! This design holds your baby in an ergonomic, natural sitting position. The padded waistbelt ensures baby’s weight is evenly distributed between your hips and shoulders, and the shoulder straps are super padded and comfortable. I highly recommend this carrier whether you are a baby wearing newbie or a seasoned professional ;) Find it here.
DockATot Deluxe Baby Lounger
I did a whole blog post review on the DockATot Lounger here, if you’d like to read! This is definitely a must-have for your baby. And it also comes in a larger size for your toddler as well! You can find the Deluxe size here.
Baby Jogger City Mini Double
This is the perfect double stroller! It’s so lightweight and maneuvers really easily. The wheels are bigger so you can push the stroller through more difficult terrain. It is also really easy to fold, which is a huge plus for me! Baby Jogger also makes a single version if you don’t need the double! You can find the double stroller here.
