Today’s Shop Feature is particularly exciting for me, as it is my first local feature! Sugar Sugar Scrub is owned and operated by Lindsey, a fellow Pittsburgher and boy mama. Lindsey first started making scrubs in 2009, the first one a gift to her mom. She then shared some of her creations with her book club, before starting her own business.
Lindsey then started designing additional handmade products to add to her line such as body butter, whipped soaps, perfume oils, lip scrubs, coffee scrubs and more. And every product is just as yummy smelling as the next! I was lucky enough to try the Twilight Sugar Scrub, which is dark black cherry twisted with raspberry. It smells amazing!
All of the Sugar Sugar Scrub products are handmade in small batches and none of the ingredients have been tested on animals. Another awesome feature – all products are paraban and phtalate free as well. I am so happy that it is gentle enough for my step daughter to use as well! Especially since she claimed it as hers the second she smelled it! ;)
Sugar Sugar Scrub also has an Autism Awareness line in their shop for the month of April, which is Autism Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds of these items is donated to Autism Speaks, a charity that is also near and dear to my heart. Just another reason to support this wonderful business!
Stay tuned for a giveaway on my Instagram later today!
